I have an expertise in fiddling and have performed with bluegrass bands since being in high school. I also have a history of performing mariachi music with the famous band Mariachi Vargas de Tecalitlan. I would start teaching them just basic theory if there beginning or even if there a little bit more along they probably still do need theory and don't know it.
