Instruments: Violin, Electric Violin

I attended the Horne School of Music on a music scholarship for one year (2015-2016), but was struck with severe health issues that forced me to come back to Arizona and take some time away from performing to take care of my body. However, after 2 years of this, I am now getting ready to attend ASU as a violin performance major with a minor in philosophy. On the side, I love to spend my time painting, taking photos, playing soccer, and studying dance (ballet, hip hop, etc). Read More

Instruments: Piano, Violin, Viola

For Beginning piano students, I often use the Piano Adventures series. For younger beginners, I tend to enjoy The Music Tree books. For intermediate students, I like the Celebration Series. For beginning violin and viola students, I use All for Strings first, then followed by I Can Read Music paired with Suzuki Book 1. As students advance in their piano or string studies, we eventually step away from method books and study staple, classic repertoire by composers such as Mozart, Beethoven, and Bach. for each lesson, I write custom lessons plans based on the student's needs and interests. As the students master the basics and get to know their violins, we'll move on to more advanced topics such as music theory and music history giving them all the knowledge needed to play complex pieces within just a few years of holding their violins for the first time. Instruments: Violin

Growing up in a family of musicians meant that I was always helping out in the music school run by my parents; as a violin teacher, ensemble coach and a practice supervisor. I began my own class of students in London, and also assisted my own professor in his teaching. I like to build up a strong technique on the instrument with my students, and apply this to the repertoire that they are working on. Read More
