Our music lesson students will have the opportunity to take lessons from the comfort of their own home or in one of the teachers studios. Careful attention is placed on each student to ensure a custom lesson plan. For beginning students, I typically start with Hal Leonard's Essential Elements, Suzuki, and easy scales. Once the student has progressed and appears to grasp the fundamentals, I will begin to introduce etudes and solo pieces. I also teach students elementary music theory related to the pieces they are learning. For advanced students, I focus more on their technique and performance. In 2013 I received my Bachelor's Degree in Instrumental Music and Music Theory from Bluefield College. I own and conduct Ovation Symphony Orchestra. I have played for the Rappahannock Youth Symphony and the Bluefield College Orchestra and in duets and trios with members of the Roanoke Symphony. I live in Virginia and have played for local wineries, art museums, and restaurants; I also play weddings, dinner parties, and private events.
