I am a local musician and music teacher. I graduated from Long Beach State University in 2015. I studied there with Dr. David Garrett and Mark Uranker. I have a wide range of experience in multiple instruments as well as multiple styles of music. My teaching style focuses on inspiring the student to want to see how well they can do. My philosophy of teaching is that if the student doesn't want to learn, it is my job to get them to want to do so. Read More

I like to start out beginning string students with Essential Elements 2000 by the Hal Leonard company. They have a complete system which includes professionally recorded accompaniments which provide a model for the student to hear how to play with good intonation, tone and rhythm which are the most important basics. In addition I recommend other sheet music with piano accompaniment or books with CD accompaniments that can be performed for friends and family. Read More

It is important that you select as many days and the widest window of start times for each day as possible. That will help us make a match with one of our teachers.
