Houston viola students will have the opportunity to take their viola lessons from the comfort of their own home or in one of the teachers' studios. Careful attention is placed on each viola student to ensure a custom lesson plan. About the Viola

The viola is very similar to the violin, but is in fact slightly larger in order to have a lower range. It has a mellow, dark tone that is robust and sonorous. The viola enjoys a prominent role in the orchestra and was used to great effect by Mozart is his six string quintets.

Viola lessons will train you to have a highly developed musical sense and a very good ear.
