I have over 30 years of teaching experience. I began teaching Music right out of college, instrumental, vocal and general music classes. As a Pastor I still directed musicals and I taught drumers how to play drumset and required them to play for my ministry once they were good enough. I spent many years making my living at teaching instrumental music privately in schools around the area I was pastoring. I have taught privately for the past five years. My students have ranged from eleven years old to college-age students in their late teens and early twenties. I love teaching for many reasons. I see a student as not just a musician, but as a complete person. Each student is very different, and I want to help them find their voice and their ability.
