Well, I am born and raised in Austin, Texas; known as the live music capitol of the world. Growing up here, it was natural for my interest in, and dedication to music to be fostered. I'm a passionate and motivated instructor who loves working with students and sharing my love of music. I graduated high school in 2004 and went on with a full scholarship at Blinn Junior College in Brenham, TX. I played first trumpet part all throughout middle and high school and even in college. Also in college I participated in the Jazz band there throughout my 2 years. I also won numerous awards throughout my musical education for solo and ensemble performances and region band competitions with making state band one year. Read More

I am a Music Educator with a lot of trumpet playing experience. I have never stopped playing my trumpet. I practice my trumpet as time permits and perform every chance I have. I like to travel and study musical styles and instruments from different countries. I also love the outdoors. I am passionate about instrumental music and want my students to feel the same. I want them to share in the knowledge that music is a special skill they will have all of their life and I hope that they will be enthusiastic about sharing their skills, knowledge and love of music with others. My teaching style is very modern. I like to add the use of electronics to aid in the devlopment of players such as recordings, tuners, video, and other musical gadgets. I find that with music technology growth is exponential.
