I like to approach teaching in a relaxed style. I find students do better when they are relaxed and comfortable. I love to see my students gain excitement to their playing as they see themselves progressing. I plan my assignments based on the students desire to improve. The more they improve the more their desire for playing is fueled. In addition, I want to expose the student to many different approaches to playing and have them choose the style that will best suit them. Read More

My Bachelors degree was completed in 2006 at the Univeristy of Delware. I completed their music teacher preparation program, participating in both educational studies and a wide range of music ensembles including wind band, brass choir, marching band, and jazz band. Positive reinforcement encourages students to gain confidence and use their natural creative abilities to overcome obstacles. I am conversational without being overbearing and tend to listen as much as I talk. Read More
