Hello! I'm a recent graduate from Lawrence University with a Bachelor of Music degree in Instrumental/Choral/General Education finishing up my student teaching. My primary instrument's are bassoon and voice with guitar, ukulele and piano as secondaries but I have a deep love for learning new instruments and have gained intermediate proficiency in all western orchestral/concert band winds, strings and percussion with an emphasis in woodwinds, low brass and marching/concert percussion. Finding the starting place for any student is important, regardless of age. As a child of an adult learner who took lessons in guitar and voice, I understand the distinction between adult and younger learners. The pacing, goal setting and choice of materials and resources is important to keep interest and spark inspiration to practice and maintain growth.
