Our music lesson students will have the opportunity to take lessons from the comfort of their own home or in one of the teachers studios. Careful attention is placed on each student to ensure a custom lesson plan. Our music teachers understand that every student has different needs and abilities and therefore the lessons will be planned with that knowledge in mind.

My favorite part about teaching is teaching beginners. It's so much fun to introduce a brand new instrument to someone and show them all that learning music has to offer. I mainly focus on the basics of music, and music theory in order to give students the tools they need to teach themselves when I'm not around, or if lessons have to discontinue for some reason. My experience as a formal teacher began just over a year ago, when I took on a beginning student who had never played the instrument before. I have also been a tutor and mentor to my peers since my high school days when I was a section leader in our symphonic and jazz bands. and captain of the marching band. For beginning students who are ages 8-13 will first use the Standard of Excellence red book and then they will transfer to the blue book. Intermediate and Advance will use the Foundations for superior performance book. We will start to pick solos that they are able to play and work on them. For Advanced we will also use the selected studies book and the Arban book in our studies. Solos will be picked based on their ability and skill level. Read More
