My #1 passion is teaching music. I'm currently the band teacher at Cary Christian School. I've been playing trombone professional for almost 20 years, my most recent gigs were playing for Princess Cruises full time, and been teaching for 20 years. My passion for playing isn't what it used to be, so I'm focusing my musical efforts on teaching. I'm a very passionate musician who loves guiding and instructing students to further their own interests in music. I have had a variety of performance opportunities throughout my time at Western Carolina University from which I graduated in 2012. I have had the opportunity to play in a variety of venues from Hawaii for the Pearl Harbor anniversary as well as in the the Rose Bowl Parade.
