Grammy associated vocalist, singer, songwriter and producer, female, with successful studies in Europe and the US, worked with many famous studios, producers and artists. I am a Grammy member, and also work in the industry, helping step by step to shape music, and am as well a member of the Producers & Engineers Wing at the Grammys! I have performed in various countries and also taught in Europe and the US. Many of my own coaches during my studies have worked with celebrities in Hollywood or other places.
I have coached singers and speakers for the last 10 years internationally and worked with all kinds of voices, helping them achieve their goals, no matter if hobby singers, professional singers, recording artists or just students who wanted to work with their voice. I have a passion for teaching and want my students to have a short-cut to learning an easy and fun way without having to go 10 years of training. I am always excited to help improving the music project or the song together with a student. I was lucky to work with some of the best people in vocal coaching such as coaches who worked with The Voice artists as well people of other TV shows. Just recently worked with the Performing arts Academy in OC that works closely with many ongoing Superstars, major Talentagents and labels.
We focus merging and expanding the chest/mouth/nasal and head resonance and try to improve and work with the student's weakness to overcome blocks in order to gain a stronger voice that projects and that will affect others when you sing! Some physical excercises come from the Feldenkrais and of course we also work on a professional breathing technique to build up your singer's belt. Only a good trained voice will be able to carry long notes, gain better pitch and you will have strength and endurance in your performance as well know everything about how your vocal chords and your physical body work together to make YOUR voice YOURS. Together we focus on making your voice shine, carry and project without straining your throat or vocal chords - I also coach studio technique if needed! speech level techniques, feldenkrais influences!
In the lesson we focus on the student, analyse your voice and will work together to achieve the maximum outcome, Each student and each voice is different, no vocal class is alike and I custom tailer each class for my personal student, just like a 'designer-dress'. We tried several voice instructors, and Sandra is definitely the best. Others focused on, "Ok, sing Do Re Me" or some pop song. Hey, if I know that, I don't need a teacher. Sandra started from scratch: teaching posture, breathing, and how to make the vocal chords vibrate to the desired pitch. Her teaching style is comfortable and relaxed, and she's understanding, tolerant, and flexible. My son is very pleased with her as his instructor.
