Ms. Pilkington performs, teaches and gives clinics in New England area as well as her native country, Japan. She teaches vocal technique for CCM. (Contemporary Commercial Music: Musical Theatre, Pop, Rock, Jazz, R&B, Folk, Country and others) as well as Jazz voice (style, improvisation) Her objective of teaching vocal technique is healthy, organic and strong voice production. Diploma in Vocal Performance, Berklee College of Music. BA in drama, Nihon University College of Arts.
EXPERIENCE
She worked as a singer-piano player in Tokyo, Japan for over 10 years. Then she came to Boston for studying at Berklee college. After graduate Berklee at 1996, she started teaching as well as singing at various venues in Boston, New England area. Currently she teaches at the Rivers School Conservatory, Wellesley HS extension and her home studio as well as Musika students' houses.
