Jacob also played in his friends bands participating in battle of the bands competitions and opening for Oconomowocs Beatle Bash 2013. During undergrad, Jacob studied with Allen Cordingley and was very involved in the music program. In addition to playing in the Wind Ensemble and Jazz Band 1 at Platteville, Jacob also participated in the pit for musicals, jazz combos, Ken Killians Jazz Orchestra, KIDS from Wisconsin traveling summer group, among many other local gigs. The student and I will be working together to find out how they can be successful. I will find out the students likes through lessons and work to expand their thoughts. I was teaching clinics and masterclasses several semesters before my student teaching semester at Southern Arkansas University. I have extensive experience directing and teaching lessons and rehearsals ranging from private lessons to large ensemble rehearsals. I have taught music to students ranging from Pre-Kindergarten to Collegiate. During my Masters, my assistantship was teaching several sections of Music for Children.
