Our music lesson students will have the opportunity to take lessons from the comfort of their own home or in one of the teachers studios. Careful attention is placed on each student to ensure a custom lesson plan. My teaching experience started immediately after college, as I found that teaching music in between my own band's tours was a fun and practical way to both make a living and work with awesome students. I have taught lessons for small schools such as Central Iowa Music Lab, as well as larger national chains such as Guitar Center (Phoenix, Arizona), and School of Rock (Los Angeles, California). I always try my best to explain new concepts and ideas in a way that makes most sense for the student, since that's how I was always taught. After graduating from UNI,with a degree in music, I started teaching in Exira, Ia, and taught there 8 years.
