My preferred set of piano books is Bastien Piano Basics, by James Bastien. Students will study three individual books- piano (study of short songs), technique (study of finger exercises, scales, key signatures, etc), and theory (basics of music theory). These books go hand-in-hand to create complete weekly lessons.
