I'm a freelance musician with over six years of teaching experience. A singer/songwriter from New York, I graduated from Vassar College in 2020 with a degree in music, and moved to New Orleans to pursue a career in music education. In my time at Vassar, I was selected to join the school's Jazz Band as the sole bassist my Freshman year, I played bass in the orchestra where I spent time as the principal bassist, and led a small Jazz combo as well. In high school I began working with my church's worship team, first as a percussionist, then as an acoustic guitarist. I began training in basic music theory at this time as well.
