It is important that younger students have fun, and are encouraged to continue learning this art form. For adult students, I focus on repertoire and material that they want to focus on learning in their own style. I emphasize breath support, body alignment, connectivity, and remaining comfortable. Hello, I'm Mackenzie B.. I'm currently a student at the University of Kansas for a Bachelors in Music Education. I am student teaching currently, which is my last step before receiving my degree. I currently work with Kerry Marsh for the KU Jazz Singers and enjoy singing both classical and jazz music. I also have two or three ukuleles and enjoy jamming with an acoustic guitar.
