I do like to use established books that focus on the fundamentals of music such as the Hal Leonard Guitar Method Books. I have a variety of teaching styles. Every student has a different way of learning, so I adjust according to the student’s needs. I provide lesson plans, review lesson plans with the students, and demonstrate the lesson for visual. Roxanne is a singer-songwriter based in Richmond, Virginia. She earned her Bachelor of Music degrees in both Vocal Performance and Music Education from Longwood University in 2017. She has experience singing and performing many styles of music, including musical theatre, classical "opera", jazz, folk, and pop. Personalizing lesson plans and objectives in this way is extremely empowering to the student and promotes more devotion of time to learning outside of the lessons.
