I attended Berklee College of Music in Boston MA and studied arranging and composition. I believe that Guitar is a purely physical thing for the starting player. The basic mechanics of holding the pick and instrument, the basic mechanics of fretting notes, etc. Must be learned before the "Music" can begin. I have developed a Teaching system that gets  you moving as quickly as humanly possible by focusing on playing and the player instead of obsessing about Music Theory. I began offering private string lessons in College during summers in Florida. I taught private string lessons. Further into my education I took internships in music therapy working with many different populations. I gave therapeutic music lessons to patients in hospitals like Massachusetts General Hospital, Worcester Recovery Center and McLean Hospital. There I ventured into teaching guitar and voice.
