I started teaching music during college teaching private lessons part time 7 years ago. I focus on each individual according to their experience and push them beyond their initial limitations. Over the years I’ve learned how to apply my own learning expirences into my teaching techniques. I will first understand what direction the student wants to go musically, whether it be playing chords and singing or being entirely a solo guitarist. From there we can understand what style they want to be playing as I would encourage having a basic understanding of all musical styles.
