My teaching experience begins back in my college years as I initially began teaching beginner piano at an after school program. Since college, I’ve been able to work in public schools around the NYC area, teach privately for several music institutions in Long Island, conducted hundreds of online video lessons, and have also been able to successfully build my own in-home roster of students as well. While many teachers start their students off by learning how to read music, I like to begin with actually playing and familiarizing yourself with the instrument and later translating that information to written music notation. I learned from masterful musicians who taught me the ins and outs of music theory, composition, and transcribing. After college, I continued my training with a prestigious jazz guitarist who helped me to further improve upon my musical skills.
