I am currently pursuing an undergraduate degree in Oboe Performance at the University of North Carolina School of the Arts studying with Jaren Atherholt. As an orchestral player, I have had the privilege performed with the UNCSA Symphony Orchestra under the baton of Maestros Larry Rachleff and Christopher Lees, and with the UNCSA Ballet Orchestra in their 2018 and 2019 production of The Nutcracker. As a musician myself, I enjoy the cooperative element of music so I readily have an instrument around that I can play along with the student to help further innate musicianship for all skill levels of instrumentalists. For beginners I enjoy using Standards of Excellence from Kjos publishing or Sound Innovations from Alfred publishing and custom tailor exercises to fit the strengths and challenges of every student I teach.
