Memorization of key signatures and scales are very important to the student's overall success. I utilize a method for memorizing key signatures which will decrease the memorization time and increaseretention. I have been teaching privately for 6 years, and have much experience teaching in groups as well. I was the flute instructor for the University of Arizona Outreach Honor Band, where I sat in the flute section and gave weekly sectionals.
