I've always been a passionate and curious musician, ever since I picked up a flute in fourth grade. I have been dedicated to both flute and percussion ever since then, and continue to learn and play at Sarah Lawrence College. I am currently focusing on playing in pit bands for musicals, as they are my favorite performance setting. I have competed multiple times in the NYSSMA solo music festival, and have been part of an award winning concert band at the Lake Compounce Trills and Thrills Music Festival. Read More

Encouraging regular practice on a consistent schedule is one of the key points I like to emphasize for younger students, as it tends to help the student progress and gain a passion for the instrument. I've also found that a combination of classical and modern music can go a long way in helping students enjoy the piano and motivate them to practice and continue to learn.
