First of all, I am someone who took formal private lessons for drums and flute from 5th grade all the way through college. I have been at School of Rock for about a year, where I am responsible for many individual as well as group lessons. I have taught a wide variety of ages ranging from 5-23, and I am extremely open to adult lessons. My beginnings as a teacher go back to my undergrad in Puerto Rico where I would teach in a music academy with students from ages 10-17. As my academic life expanded I moved to Florida where I was the Teacher Assistant for my Masters degree for 2 years. There I taught college level students from all ages in classical music. In my Doctorate I also had the opportunity to be Teacher assistant for 2 years for Master students and undergrad where my focus was jazz, blues, pop and all sorts of commercial music. Read More

I got a degree in music from NOVA Community College in 2012 and am working on my BM from George Mason in Music Education. I hold degrees in flute performance from the Cleveland Institute of Music and have performed and taught extensively in the Cleveland and western New York areas.
