I am a passionate teacher who strives to help beginner and intermediate flutists improve their playing while also encouraging a love for music and the flute and/or piccolo. In 2015, I graduated from the University of Illinois with a degree in journalism and a minor in Spanish. During my time at Illinois, I played piccolo in the Marching Illini and flute in the concert bands. I began my musical career playing clarinet and saxophone for the Marine Forces Pacific Band in Honolulu, Hawaii. While serving, I was the concertmaster, clarinet section leader, and leader of the woodwind quintet for a combination of 300+ performances around the world.
