Our music lesson students will have the opportunity to take lessons from the comfort of their own home or in one of the teachers studios. Careful attention is placed on each student to ensure a custom lesson plan. Our music teachers understand that every student has different needs and abilities and therefore the lessons will be planned with that knowledge in mind.

I've attempted teaching family members growing up. It wasn't until I changed my major sophomore year of college to music that I gained my teaching experience. I took multiple method classes for woodwind, brass, string, and percussion instruments. I taught general music in a third grade classes for my Elementary Methods course. I am a passionate teacher who strives to help beginner and intermediate flutists improve their playing while also encouraging a love for music and the flute and/or piccolo. In 2015, I graduated from the University of Illinois with a degree in journalism and a minor in Spanish. During my time at Illinois, I played piccolo in the Marching Illini and flute in the concert bands. In high school, I played flute in the Chicago Youth Symphony Orchestra, my high school's wind ensemble and marching band, and in the pit for musical productions. Read More

I began my musical career playing clarinet and saxophone for the Marine Forces Pacific Band in Honolulu, Hawaii. While serving, I was the concertmaster, clarinet section leader, and leader of the woodwind quintet for a combination of 300+ performances around the world. I also have several years of experience playing saxophone in a Latin big band located in Honolulu, Hawaii - Son Caribe. I will use a calender or notebook to track the progress of every week for each student, so that he/she can always refreshes when he/she practices at home.
