I have been teaching music to students of all ages for over half of my life and have worked with numerous teaching and non-profit organizations to provide music education varying from guitar classes to entire ensembles, songwriting to recording, and vocal music to preschoolers. I have taken and taught many professional development courses to further my skills and those of classroom teachers and other music educators. For beginning students who are childeren, i would start them off with sound and innovations once the studnet gets the fudementals of the insturements and the tone i move them on to a solo repertoire that would be apporpriate for their first recital preformacne for the adults learns i find out hat they are intrested in and give them a certain repetoire to work on and practie. I hold degrees in music education and saxophone from the University of Wisconsin at Whitewater and humanities from California State at Dominguez Hills, as well as a number of year's study in saxophone and jazz improvisation and theory at the Wisconsin Conservatory of Music in Milwaukee.
