By the time I was 24 years old, I had 60+ private students every week and included bass as one of my lesson and professional performance instruments. I keep lessons tailored to each student's needs and skill level. Students come to private music tutors for many reasons and some do not include a "passion" for the art , itself. Some wish to develop an appreciation for music to which they listen, to gain a greater knowledge of music literature, or to acquire skills for a passtime they find relaxing and enlightening. Occasional testing for retention of basic knowledge, plus technical examination for practical skill progress helps to keep the student on track with regards to his/her own goals.l Read More

I love teaching flute because the practice of creating a beautiful sweet tone emphasizes a focus on the breath which promotes mindfulness and relaxation. To make practice fun, I suggest that students should pick out a songbook of their favorite music so that they are excited to pick up the instrument and practice to improve. Read More
