My curriculum consists of proper match grip technique, the rudiments, limb independency, learning to play with dynamics, and a plethora of beats and fills designed to give the student the necessary tools to become a drum machine. I write out all lessons so that the student has something to refer to once the lesson is over. My final goal is how to enjoy singing. In my opinion, the most important thing is that singing should be comfortable to both a singer and an audience. For this reason, I generally help them to sing comfortably. Most of the students have a common problem to sing. I would say it is artificial voice which makes their voice tired and injured. Clarinet is my primary instrument, and I feel comfortable teaching all levels of clarinet students.
