For each student, it is important for them to learn at their own pace and not struggle if they get stuck o r confused on certain topics. All lessons will have goals set for the students. I am a working musician, traveling singer-songwriter, and long-time educator. While at school I focused my education on music and the music industry and building my career as a singer-songwriter. As much as I love to create and share my own music I'm also passionate about teaching others to do the same. I've taught lessons throughout college covering a range of instruments and ages. My teaching experience includes teaching full bands at the junior high level as well as beginner percussion students. I have also taught private lessons in my personal studio for both beginner and intermediate levels. I love to inspire my students to practice as much as they can, but consistency and structure is the most important thing. I want my students to have fun and to be intrinsically motivated to achieve their goals as musicians and to play the music that they want to play. Read More
