Our music lesson students will have the opportunity to take lessons from the comfort of their own home or in one of the teachers studios. Careful attention is placed on each student to ensure a custom lesson plan. Our music teachers understand that every student has different needs and abilities and therefore the lessons will be planned with that knowledge in mind.

After teaching myself theory at the age of 4, I received my first musical instruction in 6th grade. At that time I learned to play the flute. This is where my musicianship began to blossom and opportunities were sent my way. Thanks to my love and dedication, I was one of a few placed in special bands. Auditioning & being selected for choruses during this time increased as well. As a result of my hard work, I was offered & accepted the positions at section leader and Drum Majorette in my high school's concert and marching bands & after joining choir my junior year I became lead soloist of the choir. With my beginning students, I would start them off with a method book that would teach them the basic fundamentals of playing the drum set. I have many books, and I recommend certain books based on what the student wants to learn. Once they master the fundamentals, I would introduce them to solos and charts for performance practice. For adults, I would base my lessons on their interests, keep my students engaged in their lessons, and have fun in the process. Read More

GUITAR For beginner guitar students who are children, I will start working with them out of the Hal Leonard's Guitar Method books. As early as I can I want them to be able to play simple melodies of songs that they recognize so they can see that they can do this and it will just get more fun along the way!
