I come from a family of natural musicians. Meaning Ive been blessed with a good ear for music . I started playing at the age of 4 and was performing professionally by the age of 15. I grew up exposed to several styles of music from all my family members. Everything from Rock, Jazz, Funk, Latin, Motown, RB, Country, Eastern Music, and Pop. Onside of this, I've taught percussion ensembles to local middle schools such as Mokena and Manhattan Jr. High. Additionally, I've taught 8 marching band ensembles and am currently writing music for some of those. Building a list of songs that they choose and learning them start to finish so they can then start playing in front of crowds. For online lessons I basically help with what the student wants to accomplish for that lesson, if they continue to take lessons we then start to work on songs, scales, chords, and soloing.
