Our music lesson students will have the opportunity to take lessons from the comfort of their own home or in one of the teachers studios. Careful attention is placed on each student to ensure a custom lesson plan. Our music teachers understand that every student has different needs and abilities and therefore the lessons will be planned with that knowledge in mind.

My work teaching drum set began at age 16 with a position at The Blue Ridge Studio for the Performing Arts in Berryville,VA as well as teaching out of my home. Once I moved to Denton to attend the University of North Texas, I began teaching piano,drum set and guitar for the companies Taylor Robinson Music based out of Dallas and Hall Music Productions in Southlake,TX. I'm a Tarleton State University graduate with a Bachelor's Degree in Music Education. I have the ability to play and teach all brass instruments, with some voice, percussion, and piano instruction. I have completed my student teaching internship at Dublin and Hico ISDs (Elementary, Middle, HS Band) in 2012 and have worked as a music teacher in various charter schools. For my beginning trumpet students I always make sure to start them off with a solid warm up routine. I start them off with long tones which helps them to establish a great sound. Building a great trumpet sound is necessary, and happens by creating a warm up routine the student can do every day. In addition to long tones I will add in a few basic lip slurs from the Arban book to help the student learn how to keep that great sound while moving pitches. Read More
