Our music lesson students will have the opportunity to take lessons from the comfort of their own home or in one of the teachers studios. Careful attention is placed on each student to ensure a custom lesson plan. Our music teachers understand that every student has different needs and abilities and therefore the lessons will be planned with that knowledge in mind.

I have always loved to teach. I began teaching in elementary school in 6th grade, where I would help in kindergarten classroom as a mentor program. In the 10th grade I would often visit my 9th grade science teacher and help her with her class. At 17 I taught a couple adults to read. For young students, typically I start with fundamental basics of playing. I introduce these commonly 'dull' aspects by casting an interesting light on them. By facilitating common, rudimentary, aspects of playing, it opens up the avenues for improvisation and creativity. Often I teach out of lesson books, typically Hal Leonard or some other popular publishers. For adults, usually I ask them what they're interested in and build a lesson plan that encourages self growth and discovery while catering to their desires. Read More
