I'm an experienced instructor and drummer from Silver Spring, Maryland. I have been playing the drums since age six and I have been teaching drum lessons since I was fifteen. I have preformed and recorded with many different bands of many different styles of music throughout my musical career. I am deeply inspired by students who are eager and motivated to learn drumming. I meet each student where they are, looking and listening for the unique learning style of each student. After i access what approaches work best based on their ability level, I design a systematic practice routine based on Technique, Vocabulary, Independence, Coordination, and Musicality. If its required I can assist in writing charts for songs. For beginners on drums and percussion, I start with basic snare studies and immediately apply those studies to drumset and bells as appropriate.  For more experienced players, I offer more advanced literature on both instruments and demonstrate how create the various sounds and combinations.
