I fell in love with playing music when I was handed a flute by my teacher in the sixth grade.  Twice I marched in the Macy's Thanksgiving Day Parade with the Great American Marching Band. In High School I played a concerto on flute with the string orchestra and had the opportunity to conduct the concert band.  Since then I have had the opportunity to play with various ensembles at Alice Tully Hall, Avery Fisher Hall and Jazz at Lincoln Center in New York. I graduated Brooklyn College in 2014 and am looking forward to passing on my love of music to others. The methods that I would typically use are the Arbans complete Conservatory method for trumpet and Cornet. Schlossberg´s Daily Drills and Studies, Clarkes method and Caruso. I have been studying these four methods quite some time now and understand not only the instruction on the page but the purpose of the excercise itself.
