I am a professional saxophonist/flutist in central Florida who gigs over 200+ dates a year. I freelance with original bands, wedding and corporate groups. I play in jazz, funk, RB, reggae, soul, rock, songwriter, classical and world music styles. When I start teaching new student I usually use Sergey Rozanoffs method and also my fathers Sergey Gutorov senior methods on both instruments clarinet and saxophone. Usually with a beginners for the first few lessons I start solfge and music theory and later continue introducing instrument. It is very important for woodwind players to learn from very beginning how to use air and embouchure right way.
