I began teaching during my college days instructing saxophone at ASM studios in Avalon instructing school level students. At the same time I began instructing privately teaching a few adult students. This where my teaching began! After graduating at the music department, the Dean of Music recommended me for the music tutoring position at Valencia College and I taught under that position for one full school year. I like to demonstrate concepts by modeling so the student knows what they are supposed to sound and look like. I will sometimes play to give an example or send a link to a recording to help the student. I encourage students to go at their own pace. I have also provided master classes at local highschools in the Miami area and more recently have been a private instructor at a music school located in Miami Lakes.
