I began teaching students in college. While I was there I taught seven students all at once. I take pride in providing specific and tailored teaching to each of my students. While student teaching in Frisco I attended many workshops and had many conversations with experienced teachers about how to improve my teaching. I will always set goals that I know are within reach for my students. I want to create an environment that will help them develop a passion for music in a way in which they are comfortable, not frustrated. In my mind I am always going to put the person first that I am teaching by trying to find out what inspires them. I will then assess and change my style accordingly. Read More

I encourage regular practice, as students who feel they are progressing and doing well tend to enjoy their instrument more. As they become more advanced, they are encouraged to start giving opinions on what they want to learn. One thing that makes my studio unique is that I don't just teach how to play an instrument, I teach my students how to practice. Read More
