I am a cellist and guitarist from El Paso, TX. I studied at Baylor University working towards a Bachelor of Music Education. I have been private teaching for five years and have received glowing reviews from all my past students. I have also student taught in Frisco, one of the fastest growing cities in Texas. Along with this, I am passionate for students receiving a music education. During my time at the university, I studied under Dr. Vagram Saradjian (student of Mstislav Rostropovich), Estelle Choi of the Calidore Quartet, Dr. Charles Hausmann (student of Leonard Bernstein), and many other inspiring musicians. I was principal cellist for both the Moores School Symphony Orchestra and Opera Orchestra and was an active member of many diverse chamber groups. I Started with music 17 years now . I began age 10 with cello. 2 years later started the guitar. Picked up along the way electric bass, upright bass, ukulele , mandolin , banjo, basic piano and learning accordion. All middle and high school was in the orchestra. Graduated 2009, then attended Lone-star for 2 years taking music classes. I was in a band for about 3 years. We did some events, but then I decide to leave. I am a passionate instructor who enjoys working with students of all ages. I started performing, professionally, at a very young age, during my 6 years at the Alabama School of Fine Arts. From there, I attended the Louisiana State University, as a cello performance major and performed with the school symphony, as well as the Alexandria Symphony, the Lake Charles Symphony and local venues. I went on to get my Master's degree at Georgia State University and then returned to Louisiana State University for my final degree in Cello Performance. Read More
