Our music lesson students will have the opportunity to take lessons from the comfort of their own home or in one of the teachers studios. Careful attention is placed on each student to ensure a custom lesson plan. Our music teachers understand that every student has different needs and abilities and therefore the lessons will be planned with that knowledge in mind.

I teach using the Suzuki method with emphasis on scales, proper technique, and individual music preferences. For beginning students, I begin with Hal Leonard's Essential Elements book. Once the student begins to grasp the understanding of reading music, I transition to teaching scales, and into the Suzuki books. More advanced students will be learning out of the Position Pieces books by Rick Mooney, Foundational Studies by Alwin Schroeder, as well as any other music that they are interested in. Read More

My teaching has been shaped and inspired by many sources - from my own past teachers, to figures such as Bruce Lee (one of my biggest inspirations). I believe that for many problems, there is more than one correct solution, more than one "way." But I have to balance this idea with the fact that sometimes, one solution is better than another. I try to make sure I don't teach with a "my way or the highway" attitude, and let students choose things for themselves, whenever possible. Read More
