From there we will focus on building technique, musicality, and theory knowledge while focusing on cello repertoire. I have performed with the Tallahassee Symphony Orchestra since 2018 and also the assistant principal cellist of the Northwest Florida Symphony Orchestra. In addition, I have played with the Richmond Symphony, the Ocala Symphony, Sinfonia Gulf Coast, Northwest Florida Ballet, Sewanee Summer Festival Symphony, and many other orchestras and ensembles. My method of teaching involves researching a wide range of resources in order to find what is best for the student at the current stage in his or her development.  Using my own knowledge, I am able to effectively adapt and improve these resources so as to be accessible to the student.  For bass students, I might use Hal Leonard's Bass Method, book one.  For young beginning guitar students, I recommend The Beginning Guitarist's Book by Tom Hess.
