Sometimes musicianship is as much "caught" as it is "taught." So, it's important to carefully monitor and foster a student's progress. While teaching at The Southern Baptist Theological Seminary in Louisville, KY, I have had the opportunity to work with a number of undergraduate and graduate students on guitar, with genres ranging from contemporary worship music to jazz, bassa nova, and solo fingerpicking styles.
