I have been teaching since I was 18. I strongly encourage at least 10-30 minutes a day of practice. I believe in experiencing the JOY in music, but it does require discipline and work. I can also help with compositional ideas, as I took 2 years of composition as my secondary applied area of study for my bachelor's degree. Improvisation is another aspect I can help in as I was pianist for the ASU Jazz Band for 3 semesters. Read More

Hi I'm Kyle, a current jazz studies major at the University of Arkansas. I have been playing electric bass for about nine years and I also have experience with guitar, drums, voice, and mandolin. I started off playing rock and other adjacent genres, but quickly moved more towards jazz. This has given me a diverse skillset that covers just about every genre of modern music as well as music theory. Read More

My methods of teaching change with each student. All individuals learn differently. I start by seeing where each individual is and how they react to the material. Im always wanting my students to be a well rounded individual in music and in life. Read More
