Performed and/or recorded almost any style of music ranging from Jazz with the Collin College big band, top combo, and University of North Texas forum ensembles, to Country with artists such as Kevin Deal and Jake Ward. Additionally, I have played bass at a number of churches around the DFW Metroplex some of which include Southlake Baptist, Creekwood United Methodist, Crossroads Bible Church, and First United Methodist McKinney. I have also been a member of several local level Denton indie rock and pop bands, and have experience in an orchestra at the high school level in which I qualified for UIL State solo and ensemble in 2013. For bass guitar I use the Mel Bay Bass Guitar Method which takes a student from creating rocking bass lines to building kicking bass licks from chord changes.Double Bass students will have classical training, techniques to build a solid, warm tone, use of the bow, and orchestral repertoire, including solo pieces. In 2009 I graduated from Salisbury University with a Bachelor of Arts in Music. During my time at Salisbury I studied classical music on Double Bass as well as Jazz on Bass Guitar. After applying to and being accepted into several different graduate programs, I decided at the time I would rather continue my studies outside of a university setting.
