I am an energetic woodwind multi-instrumentalist, composer, and educator born and raised in Philadelphia, always open to musical opportunities regardless of the style. Since graduating from Temple University Boyer College of Music in 2021, I've been hard at work leading my solo fusion jazz project, GPS (Gabe Preston Sounds), with our debut album [to the stratosphere] currently available on all streaming platforms. For beginning students who are children, I typically use Blocki method or another outstanding flute teachers methodic. Usually, kids can't concentrate on something more than fifteen or twenty minutes, so I usually try to find different types of games or interesting stories about flutes, notes, etc. Also, they love to play songs from their favorite cartoons or movies.
