I began teaching young, beginner students roughly fifteen years ago. This progressed to teaching collegiate saxophonists while at the University of Wyoming. I play several instruments and love to play the saxophone. I played saxophone for a year at Oregon State University in the Jazz Combo 1988-89. I took a long 20 year break from music to be a mental health therapist. I have had more time in the past couple of years and have picked up several instruments to heal after recalling past trauma.
