I am a passionate, energetic and enthusiastic music teacher, who loves to see my students gain both the proper vocal foundation and a passion for music! I am trained in jazz and musical theatre, along with being classically trained. I have conducted several youth choruses around the SFV, and have been on the Board of Directors for the San Fernando Valley Master Chorale. I recently was accepted to the Manhattan School of Music's Summer Choral Festival, and have received my BA in Music from California Lutheran University (Full Scholarship). I am both the Music Director of a prestigious private school and the founder of Anthem Music Lesson's Choral/Musical Theatre Program.
I have been teaching all around the San Fernando Valley for the past five years. I am the Music Director at a prestigious private school, the founder of the Anthem Music Lesson's Choral/Musical Theatre Department and I've taught music at public elementary, middle and high schools, all around the SFV. I have worked with children for the past nine years, and absolutely love what I do! I have been singing since the age of five, and have conducted and lead some of the most prestigious youth choirs in the valley. I've taken my Advanced Vocal Ensembles to Heritage Music Festivals in Anaheim for the past two years, and placed gold and won several Maestro Awards.
I began singing at the age of five, and instantly fell in love with my passion for music! Nothing makes me happier than seeing that same spark in one of my students! All vocal students will begin with a vocal warm up, in order to strengthen their range, control their tone, develop vibratto and straight tone singing and feel comfortable using their head voice, middle voice and belt voice. Students will also be given breathing exercises, as breathing is one of the most essential tools in using our voice! Students will be asked to choose a song that they would like to work on, and we will then go over this song in their lessons. The most important part of lessons is to HAVE FUN, so I will ask my student to choose a song that they feel comfortable singing!
I am well known for my energectic, enthusiastic personality, which is implemented in my lessons! I am always willing and wanting to go the extra mile, to ensure the success of my students! The most important thing to me is that my students both learn the proper vocal techniques, while having fun at the same time! I hope to see a passion for music develop as the lessons progress; that is my main goal when teaching my vocal students!
Select all the days/times the student would be available to start lessons. Selecting "3pm - 7pm" means the student can start as early as 3pm or start as late as 7pm. It is important that you select as many days and the widest window of start times for each day as possible. That will help us make a match with one of our teachers.Ok
Are you sure that's your only availability? The more availability you easier it will be to arrange a teacher for you.
