I consider myself to be very professional. I love to please my students in not only teaching the necessary skills to execute the instrument but also encouraging them to play the songs and genres of their choice when applicable. I am a Berklee College of Music Graduate with a Bachelor in Film Scoring Major and a Minor in Piano Performance and Vocal Technique. My experience lies as a piano and background vocal performer for many of the great Salsa and Latin Jazz artist as Luis Enrique, Gilberto Santarosa, Ismael Miranda, Andy Montanez, Tito Rojas, Frankie Negron, Issac Delgado, Michel Stuart, Melina Leon, N’KLABE, NG2, Chocolate Almenteros, Charlie Sepulveda, Humberto Ramirez, Elias Lopez, Luis Perico Ortiz, and many others.
I have offered excellent interpersonal, communication and leadership skills throughout my career to people of all ages and different cultural and racial backgrounds. I have also worked as a piano teacher and ensemble teacher at Sociedad Latina a non-profit organization in Boston and JM Studio Production a Music School for adults and children. I am eager to bring the same dedication and level of engagement I have experienced and bring my experience as a professional piano performer to students.
I use a combination of hands-on and audio-visual techniques that were introduced to me while I was getting my education. These techniques include but are not limited to the use of videos, transcriptions in real-time and experimental exercises that focus on poly-rhythmic and melodic patterns, which develop motor skills.
I feel that I have so much to offer, based on my huge knowledge in music, as a teacher, as a performer, composer, film composer, arranger and as a lyricist. It is very pleasant for me to see the improvement of my students when they have achieve their goal to be able to perform as professional musicians.
Select all the days/times the student would be available to start lessons. Selecting "3pm - 7pm" means the student can start as early as 3pm or start as late as 7pm. It is important that you select as many days and the widest window of start times for each day as possible. That will help us make a match with one of our teachers.Ok
Are you sure that's your only availability? The more availability you easier it will be to arrange a teacher for you.
