MA, Indiana University of Pennsylvania, Music Performance BA, Homs University, Music Education
I'm a very enthusiastic, and passionate instructor. I love teaching students and sharing my experience and love of music. In 2013 i earned my Bachelor Degree in Education and traveled many countries performing with multiple musicians from everywhere. 2017 i graduated with a Masters of Performance from IUP, i had the chance to perform with the PSO (Pittsburgh Symphonic Orchestra). Traveling around the states and meeting different musicians made my love of music grow more and more, especially each time i play on the stage.
I started teaching in 2009 when i established my own small private studio, it was a part time Job helping with some school funds. With time i had more students, and started to teach at private music institutions in my city and even in other cities. In 2013 and after i graduated i was selected to be an assistant Teacher at my college. As a part of my Program i worked as a violin teacher in the (string Project) at the music department of IUP 2015/2016, and since then I've been teaching private violin lessons.
For Beginning students who are children, i usually start with teaching the fundamental, essential elements of music such as; rhythm, reading, and some singing, that doesn't mean we will not start with the instrument from the first lesson, i believe that as soon as the student holds the violin as fast they learn and understand about it. For Adults, and advanced students, we will both look into what they are interested in and i will do my best to enhance their Techniques and looking further in music.
I'm a very patient teacher, being a music student since i was 9 years old i know how much hard work and discipline music learning needs, So i try to make it fun, direct, and serious at the same time, (Learn and Fun) is a very important term i use. I love cooperating with parents so we can both see the student getting advance. however, challenging the students without pushing them is a very important thing i do. I think i'm a very good listener, and always welcoming feed back from the students.
Select all the days/times the student would be available to start lessons. Selecting "3pm - 7pm" means the student can start as early as 3pm or start as late as 7pm. It is important that you select as many days and the widest window of start times for each day as possible. That will help us make a match with one of our teachers.Ok
Are you sure that's your only availability? The more availability you easier it will be to arrange a teacher for you.
