Overview:
I am a (born in 1987) Czech classical pop and crossover violinist and recording artist, DJ, and composer. Born into a musical family and a traditional culture teeming with music and dances, I was always taking my place on center stage. I presented choreographed violin performances, live and in music via my recording label Tomorrow Island and performs a variety of music styles, from classical music to deep house. In 2008, I began my concert series in Long Island, where I am known as the 'jazz violinist'. I have released two albums, an EP, several singles and toured many states across the US and Europe.

Aside from original work, my discography contains covers of songs by other musicians and various soundtracks. Since 2011 I've performed also as a house DJ. My compositions matured from my earlier musical career as a band leader and the influence of diverse music perfected his style. Since 2008 I lives in New York.

EXPERIENCE

I've been teaching and performing on Long Island and New York since 2008. I love teaching children. My teaching philosophy is to give ability to internalize basic rhythms and pulse to read-musical literacy, to perform with physical ease and technical efficiency, to hear the notes on the page, to work creatively-improvise compose, harmonize and play by ear, to understand basic elements of theory, form harmony, etc.; and perform comfortably individually and with others in a variety of settings.

METHODS USED

Since 2013, I've adapted a student-oriented curriculum blending the principles of Suzuki, Kodaly, and Orff.

LESSON STYLE
My teaching is mainly focused on understanding the instrument and its physical abilities. Besides other aspects of learning, the student can earn "the 10 A's", which is: Ability to internalize basic rhythms and pulse; Ability to read-musical literacy; Ability to perform with physical ease and technical 
efficiency; Ability to hear the notes on the page; Ability to work creatively-improvise compose, harmonize and play by ear; Ability to understand basic elements of theory, form harmony, etc.; Ability to respond to the interpretive elements of the composition to express the emotional character of the music; Ability to conceptualize and transfer musical ideas; Ability to work independently and to problem-solve; and Ability to perform comfortably individually and with others in a variety of settings.
