Her students are always motivated to learn music and have great success in major music competitions, auditions, and music school applications. In addition to her teaching experience, Joanna has substantial performing experience as a musical theatre, classical, and contemporary commercial music singer. In 2013, she played the lead role, Hubba in an Off-Off-Broadway show, Gayuranus produced by the Alien Theater Company. Her pedagogical teaching skills, such as positive reinforcement, instruction verbalization and visualization, abstract-to-concrete conceptualization enhance her students' learning efficiency. She specializes in teaching multiple music genres, including classical/opera, musical theatre, contemporary commercial music (jazz, Pop & Rock).
